You can help our mothers and children by donating online instantly using secure sites at PayPal Giving Fund, eBay For Charity, PayPal, Network for Good, Guidestar, Just Give, Causes/Facebook, GoodSearch, GoodShop, Donation Street, their partner sites below, and by clicking their Donate Buttons at left. Some permit recurring monthly, quarterly, and yearly donations, with minimum donations as low as $1.00 - $15; most allow donors to cover processing fees. PayPal Giving Fund /eBay For Charity, AmazonSmile, GoodSearch / GoodShop, Artisans of the Twelfth House, The I Do Foundation, and Donation Street are among those offering ways to donate without cost to you. To find us easily, enter our Federal Identification Number, 95-4521373, in the site's search bar. Always use reputable sources when donating online or through companies, track and confirm to verify transactions are successful and, if you have concerns, please apprise us of your donations and we can track them, too. For the Donate Now Buttons listed here, contact their sites for detailed information. The Custody Project encourages donations through The PayPal Giving Fund as 100% of every contribution will reach TCP and help our families, as processing fees are not charged. At press, the information in this and in the following paragraphs was obtained either from their websites or their organizational contacts but please contact these sites directly with concerns, questions, fee updates, and for new information, as data changes with time.

Processing Fees: When using their Donate Now Buttons, Network for Good (NFG), PayPal (PP), and Guidestar (G) can send 100%, as can some other sites, when you cover the additional 3% (NFG), 2.2% + 30 cents (PP), and 3.99% + 99 cents (G) in processing fees. Just Give sends 97.75% when you use their Discover Giving and American Express Members Give options, and may send up to 100% through the I Do Foundation. Check the percentages for Causes on their website. eBay For Charity donations flow through the PayPal Giving Fund (PPGF), as do direct PPGF donations. Weddings: The I DO Foundation. Couples and guests making wedding-related purchases can help TCP without a dime leaving a pocket. When a Gift Registry is lodged with I DO's partner stores and TCP is designated as the charitable beneficiary, a percentage of 10% or less will be deducted automatically from those purchases and sent as a donation to us. I DO also allows a couple to create a Charity Registry so that their guests can donate to the charity of the couple's choice in lieu of purchasing a gift for them. When wedding couples do this, The Custody Project receives approximately 90% of your donation, and 100% when you elect to cover I DO's processing fee. (This Just Give program may end on December 31, 2016. When you click on The I DO Foundation Donation Registry link, only our address and mission statement may be visible until you log in). Philanthropic Gift Cards. When you purchase charitable gift cards, typically you choose the value of the card, your recipient chooses the charity, their charity receives a donation—and everyone wins. Email cards can be sent without cost, and the company may mail/email both gift card(s) for you. When gift card recipients designate The Custody Project, our families benefit.

Causes/Facebook: To all our Facebook Donors, thank you for supporting our mission, helping our families, and sharing our work. Bank of America, requiring no minimum but needing approximately $1.00 to cover processing fees and send us the remainder, accepts one-time donations using national and international Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner, and JCB credit cards, and debit cards with Visa and MasterCard logos. When using the Bank of America / First Data Corporation Donate Now Button below, list the amount, submit, complete the information on the Review Your Order page, pay with your card, and donate. To cover processing fees, Bank of America sends between 98.01% - 96% less 25 cents, depending upon the type of credit/debit card used. Bank of America requires the following information be stated. Refund Policy: Donations are non-refundable. Transactions: Are in U.S. Dollars. Privacy Policy: When you donate using the Bank of America Donate Now Button, your privacy is taken seriously and all measures are taken to protect your personal information. Bank of America only collects information needed to process your donation, including your billing, home, and email addresses, and your credit card information. Additionally, Bank of America collects information on your IP address, browser type, and Refer URL data. This data is used to prevent hacking attempts, help Bank of America know what web browsers people are using, and find out where visitors are coming from so that marketing improvements can be made. Donor information must be entered precisely the first time without error and exactly match credit card information on file, otherwise the data will be rejected and TCP will be charged fees regardless. When you make www.goodsearch.com your preferred search engine, a penny donation is made to us with each internet search (See, "Do all of my searches count...?" in their FAQ for exceptions). On their site, choose The Custody Project as your favorite cause, and search. Anything less than their minimum each year is forfeited and distributed to other participating charities, so click our name and details (if a member) to see the amount we will receive yearly. Shop 'Til You Drop, Online and On-Street

GoodShop / GoodSearch. On www.GoodShop.com, when you designate The Custody Project, searches and a percentage of your purchases, 0-20% with 3% average, benefit our families at no cost to you. Go to GoodShop first when shopping online, sign in (if needed), find the store you want to shop at and click through to it from GoodShop. Save money with the coupons and deals offered through GoodShop while raising money for TCP, too. While optional, as a member, after choosing The Custody Project as your favorite cause, search, shop, track your personal activity, see how much you've raised over time, favorite stores you shop at on GoodShop so you don't have to search for them again, receive your donation confirmations by email, and view TCP's overall donation details. Belk Charity Sales. Belk Department Stores holds charity sales yearly from 6am-10am on a Saturday in April / May and October / November. For a week prior, you can shop and hold items until purchase the day of the sale. You must buy a $5 ticket but you receive the $5 back with your first $5 purchase; some stores let you buy as many tickets as wanted and apply them as separate transactions to most items storewide. When you purchase tickets from The Custody Project prior to the sale, TCP receives each $5 in full as a charity donation. Call your local Belk to verify the sale date and time and help us help others while you shop. When mailing your donations, specify the amount enclosed for Belk Tickets and we will mail them to you, or call us @ 850.682.3460.

When shopping on-street and online merchants, auctions, and services, and when paying utility or other monthly bills, some companies allow you to donate a percentage of purchases, payments, and reward points to your charities of choice. GoodShop / GoodSearch.com, Donation Street (www.dscoupons.com), Amazon, Dell, 1.800.flowers.com, eToys.com, eBay, and countless other merchants encourage charitable giving, and you help mothers and their children by designating The Custody Project everywhere you shop. When patronizing eBay stores making percentage donations to us, view items being sold to benefit TCP, click to read descriptions, and purchase. Seller donation percentages range from 10%-100%. Items show as Good 'Til Cancelled or Buy It Now under the Time Left column; for auction items and to sell items in our name, see eBay Sellers below. When purchasing, you can opt to make a personal donation without fees charged, too, in addition to the percentage donation given by the seller. To make purchases, scroll down to shop to support us where items benefit TCP up to 100%, read the descriptions, purchase or, if an auction, bid. As their Buy Display may update partially, visit Artisans of The Twelfth House and other stores directly to view current items for sale benefitting TCP.

Also, you can add The Custody Project as your favorite nonprofit on eBay, which will allow you to donate $1 or more to TCP each time you purchase items through eBay Checkout. eBay Sellers. When Selling an item on eBay, you can donate a percentage (or $1 minimum) of your sales to The Custody Project and eBay will give a credit on insertion and final value fees, based on the percentage donated, once the item sells (i.e., donate 10% and receive 10% of fees back). List the item, select The Custody Project to benefit, and choose the percentage. When your item sells, eBay (or PayPal or PayPal Giving Fund) will send us your donation and provide you with a tax receipt. To designate The Custody Project, the following may be helpful: click on the Sell Link in the upper right corner of any eBay page. The Sell An Item Form has an eBay Giving Works section that allows you to search for The Custody Project and add TCP as the Benefitting Nonprofit for your listing. If you have never sold using eBay Giving Works, you will be asked to agree to the eBay Giving Works terms and conditions. In Honor Of. In lieu of wedding, housewarming, bar mitzvah, or traditional holiday gifts, donations made to The Custody Project will help cover legal and family expenses, make mothers and their childrens' holidays happier, and ensure stability to families.

Moving / Non-running Vehicle and Land Donations

You can benefit The Custody Project by donating your used moving vehicles and land. To donate through towing companies, your churches and other forums, please designate us as the nonprofit beneficiary on intake forms, give them our Federal Tax ID #95-4521373, and contact us as needed.

The Volunteers of America (“VOA”) accepts moving and non-running vehicle donations, and property in some states, on behalf of The Custody Project. When you donate your vehicle through the VOA at Cars Helping People and designate TCP as your nonprofit beneficiary, we receive 50% of the net proceeds (or 50% of the gross minus towing and processing fees - ask). They handle the sale, the paperwork, help determine the deductible amount, and will provide you with a written statement for tax purposes while you help The Custody Project and receive, to the extent permitted by IRS tax laws, tax benefits. Contact TCP with your vehicle's year, make, model, and VIN number and retain this information for your records so that your gift to us via the VOA can be tracked. Contact VOA's national office at 800.407.2600 / 877.721.4862 for car donations nationwide and, in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, 800.552.1515. The VOA will pick up your car at no cost and some boats, RVs, and motorcycles. For property donations, please contact us but for property donations to TCP through the VOA, call 800.407.2600.

Gifts of Stock, Options, Investments

You can donate stock, stock options, other securities, and investments to The Custody Project. To the extent provided by IRS tax laws, you benefit by being able to deduct the full market value while at the same time avoiding capital gains taxes. TCP benefits by receiving property that will generate funds for our services. Our long-time friends will remember that in the Summer of 2008, a nationwide Drive occurred to honor mothers relocating with their children and those affected by custody, visitation, and move away issues, to bring attention and support to their plight. Summer Caravan / National Drive 2016-2017. The Custody Project's donors raised funds for a National Drive and for Visuals to demonstrate support for the plight of those affected by custody, visitation, and move away issues, to honor mothers relocating with their children, and to lift awareness for these voiceless families. This Drive occurred during the Winter of 2016-2017 and its visuals will be uploaded over the next several months.

The Custody Project continues to raise funds and accept donations directly as well as through Indiegogo's Generosity for visuals, including for photographs, writings, art work, children's art, and a short documentary to visually depict some of the difficulties our families experience.
